Of course, to play games in a spaceship , you’ll first need a spaceship – or at least a board’s worth of spaceship terrain, such as the contents of the Boarding Actions Terrain Set. This set contains two sturdy double-sided gaming boards and 68 pieces of massively modular terrain, which can be used for the Boarding Actions missions in the Arks of Omen series. All just in time for 10th edition in June – oh what a year of 40k this will be! Let’s have a look at what’s inside. Iron Hands: March of Iron Strike Force One of the more specialized boxes, this Battle Force’s primary source of appeal is the two Invictor Warsuits which offer a viable combination of speed and firepower. Unfortunately it’s hampered by the Reivers, as Space Marines are already quite good at killing unarmored targets and abilities that effect Leadership rarely do anything. Outside of Shrike the box is easily applied to other Chapters. If this boxed set included Infiltrators instead of the Reivers that Games Workshop loves to put into everything (no matter how few actually see the battlefield) then it would be a lot more appealing. The Blood Angels Box with Mephiston? and we all know that surely the Dark Angels box will drop as the first place we can get Azrael. Each box has a similar theme, One, (sometimes two) faction-specific, commander(s). Upgrade sprues, Then a load of space marine models. This box provides a tough, powerful core for an Iron Hands army, led into battle by Iron Father Feirros, armed with the mighty axe Harrowhand. Inside you'll find a squad of objective-claiming Primaris Intercessors, two towering Redemptor Dreadnoughts, and a Techmarine to repair them and keep them fighting. You’ll also receive plenty of Iron Hands Primaris Upgrades to add some extra sons of Ferrus Manus style. This box provides 14 plastic models with a variety of weapon options, making it an ideal way to start a new Iron Hands army or add to your existing Space Marines collection. As well as spinning an epic yarn, Arks of Omen: Abaddon lets you take part in the saga of the Balefleets by introducing rules and missions for Boarding Actions – a whole new way to play Warhammer 40,000, offering fast-paced games set within the confines of voidcraft, space hulks, and orbital stations. In this Blood Angels novel, the Redeemer of the Lost joins the Red Wings Chapter as they experience strange events and battle monstrous xenos foes, and face the possibility of extinction.

Finally, the Salamanders Warforged Strike Force is great for fans of infantry assaults – not to mention flamers and meltas – with 20 Intercessors, three Eradicators, three Aggressors, and Adrax Agatone to oversee them all.

Note that this boxed set does not contain any upgrade sprues, as the Reiver shoulder pads are different from the Intercessor pads in the upgrade set. Instead the box comes with three transfer sheets. Scions of Macragge Both Characters can make battlefield repairs on the Dreadnoughts, with Feirros restoring 3 wounds every turn, so it’ll take some serious firepower to bring them down. Just add a few Gladiator tanks and you’ll prove that the flesh is weak and the machine is strong. The map is a large-scale reproduction of the one found in the book, measuring 596mm x 420mm, and printed on cotton. It comes in a faux-leather wrap to keep it safe and let you roll it out dramatically, like one of Rogal Dorn’s sub-commanders pointing out weak spots in the defences. It’s secured with a leather cord and a metal pendant featuring the sigil of the Titan Legions.
